Week #26: Conversing

I began a series of conversations this week and have put everything on hold until I am through with them.
They are the most important thing on my calendar.
I am journaling to myself from the perspective of my eighty-year-old self. We are going through each area of my life with the privilege of hindsight. This is a journaling prompt I picked up early in the year and it kept me from switching jobs to a company that months later ended up laying off staff.
The future me saved me from myself.
I prepare for them by going almost full-days with no inputs; no music, no podcasts, no interviews, no texts. All this in an attempt to have a clean surface to receive the guidance. Initially all this made me uncomfortable.
I know it sounds crazy.
But after a full week of this practice what seems insane is living a life where you never hear yourself out at all.
Here's my week:
Journaling exercise: 9 hr Writing coach: 1 hr
Music: 5.75 hours
